Clinithink operate several different Websites that you may interact with in your dealings with us and this privacy notice covers these various Websites. Unless we say otherwise, Clinithink will only collect, process, use, and store your Personal Data for the purposes listed in this privacy notice or as described elsewhere on our Websites.

  • to personalise your experience on the Websites
  • for customer service purposes.

We do not provide services directly to children or proactively collect their personal information.

  • Clinithink’s service providers, agents, and marketing partners
  • law enforcement; attorneys; regulators; auditors and advisors to Clinithink,

Where we transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service these transfers are covered by service agreements which include appropriate requirements for ensuring such data is kept secure and safe.

Except as explained in this privacy notice, we will only disclose, or transfer your information for the following purposes:

(1) subject to applicable contractual or legal restrictions, it is disclosed to entities that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other entities with whom we have joint marketing agreements.

(2) it is necessary to protect the confidentiality or security of your records.

(3) subject to applicable contractual or legal restrictions, it is necessary in connection with a sale of all or substantially all of the assets of the Company or the merger of the Company into another entity or any consolidation, share exchange, combination, reorganization, or like transaction in which the Company is not the survivor, in such event, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Website of any change in ownership, incompatible new uses of your personal data, and choices you may have regarding your personal data.

We may also combine information we hold with information we obtain about you from other sources such as social media sites for example LinkedIn where information has been publicly shared. We may combine the data from these sources such as name and business email with information about the company you work for and/or company location or comments about our products or similar products you have posted on social media for the purpose of creating more tailored advertising of our services and products and better engaging with customers and partners for example by a geographic advertising campaign. How long will we keep your data?

We will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to provide you services or as legally required.

We normally retain Personal Data for the duration of a contract and for up to 7 years from the date you last used our Websites in line with our data retention policy. Following this time your data will be securely deleted.

On occasion, Clinithink may need to retain your information longer than 7 years to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

 

Your Rights

You have a right to request any personal information that we may hold about you and be told if we hold any of your personal information.

You may have additional rights depending on the territory in which you are a resident. These rights under applicable law, may include the following:

  • a right to withdraw consent for future processing at any time, where relevant.
  • a right to request, access to and rectification or erasure of your Personal Data.
  • a right to restrict processing personal data concerning you or to object to the processing of your personal data.

How do we keep your information secure?

We employ and maintain administrative, technology and security measures designed to protect your information.

When you submit information on our Websites, that information is subject to a variety of protections, including firewalls and password-protected features for certain website options. Whilst we strive to protect your information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of information you transmit to or receive from us.

Data Processors

We use data processors who are third parties who provide elements of services for us such as to provide products and services to you on our behalf, which includes processing transactions, hosting websites, conducting customer surveys, and providing customer service. We have contracts in place with our data processors. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They will not share your personal information with any organisation apart from us. They will hold it securely and retain it for the period we instruct.

 

Clinithink as a Data Processor

Clinithink may collect information under the direction of its customers and partners and has limited direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes.

If you are a customer of a customer or partner for whom Clinithink is acting as a data processor and you no longer want to be contacted by that customer or partner who use our service, or if you wish to access, correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data, please contact the customer or partner that you interact with directly.

 

Your Choices

Opting out of Relevant Advertising 

We partner with a third party to manage our advertising on other sites. Our third-party partner may use cookies or similar technologies in order to provide you advertising based upon your browsing activities and interests. Updating Your Information

If you do not want us to use your information as described within this privacy notice, or would either like to modify your information, or remove your information from our databases for marketing purposes, please send an opt-out request and provide us with your contact information or use the contact details at the end of this notice.

Without the use of your information, however, we may not be able to provide you the products, services, or information you request. We may retain copies of your information as necessary for us to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, enforce any agreement you have entered into with us, and as otherwise reasonably necessary for our business purposes.

 

Passive Collection

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, web browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring or exit pages, the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, and date and time stamps, and/or clickstream data to analyse trends in the aggregate and administer the site.

We automatically collect and store this information in our logs. We will hold this data in line with our data retention policy for 7 years. After this time, your data will be deleted.

Clinithink and its marketing partners use cookies or similar technologies to analyse trends, administer the website, track users’ movements around the website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

Additional cookie management is also provided directly on our website which provides the user with the ability to choose cookie preferences.

  • to help us understand which parts of our Websites are the most popular and how much time our users spend in each,

For users of our products, we also use cookies so that CLiX can operate efficiently without the need for you to re-enter your access credentials with every interaction.

These cookies are used only during the individual session and are not stored permanently. This cookie is a session cookie used to store authentication state within Clinithink Exchange. As an active Clinithink Exchange session needs to be running when any instance of CLiX insight is running, this cookie will be present when using Clinithink Exchange or CLiX insight. This cookie will be cleared when the session is closed or when the user logs out.

We also use cookies on our customer (partner) portal in order to provide secure and efficient authentication to the application. These cookies are always necessary and are cleared when the session is ended.

You may have the option to enter third party websites through our Websites, or you may have the option to enter our Websites from another third-party website. We have no responsibility or liability for the actions or policies of these independent sites, do not endorse any product or service that may be mentioned or offered in such websites, and are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such websites. Visiting our Websites from Outside of the United States

If you are visiting our Websites from outside of the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, or processed in the United States, where some services are located, and some databases operate.

For transfers to or from the UK to countries without authorised adequacy arrangements (ico link) We will make use of the UK International Transfer Agreement/ Addendum.

Other safeguards we put in place include where appropriate, commercial industry standard secure encryption methods to protect customer data at rest and in transit, web application firewall protection, and other appropriate contractual and organisational measures.

 

 

“Do Not Track” Signals

California and Delaware laws require that we indicate whether we honour “Do Not Track” settings in your browser concerning targeted advertising.

Clinithink treats your Personal Data in accordance with this privacy notice, whatever your Do Not Track setting chosen during your use of our Websites and do not monitor or honour any Do Not Track browser requests.
